The Grave of Syech Yusuf (Ko’bang)

Syech Yusuf is a famous Moslem hero. He was widely known by the people of South Sulawesi as “Tuanta Salamaka”. His grave is known as “Kobbang“. He was a knowledgeable man who actively spread Islam in several countries. Surprisingly, his graves are found in South Africa, Ceylon (Srilanka), Banten (Indonesia), and Gowa (Indonesia). Everyday people visit his grave for different purposes.

The site is in the border of Makassar in Syech Yusuf Street, Sumba Opu Sub-district.
